My daughter's a sophomore in high school, which means almost everybody she knows will turn sixteen this year. On Day 5, one of her friends was throwing a Sweet Sixteen Masquerade Party. After a trip to Wal-Mart for supplies, MiniMe sat down at the kitchen table with bags of feathers, sequins, jewelry findings and this hot glue gun to build herself a mask.
Her result (yes, I did get pictures) is very reminiscent of a Mardi Gras mask. Just beautiful.
