Today, SoundGuy packed the family into the truck and we drove to a town 45 minutes away from home, where he purchased a motor for a vehicle he's restoring. It turned out he bought that motor from a garage that does restorations and conversions on Corvettes. With their permission, I wandered around a took a few pictures.
In addition to the gorgeous cars, there were all sorts of interesting things there to shoot, and I ended up with a couple dozen photos. I chose this one because it's so far away from my normal comfort zone -- it's nothing like a landscape!
Although the color contrast was interesting in the color version -- silver sockets on red spindles -- I found this black & white conversion more striking.
This is a fantastic shot! I love the reflections.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tess. I had a good feeling about these sockets the moment I saw them. :)
ReplyDeleteThey are cool. And oh, I see the face. :) Very cool.
ReplyDelete::grin:: The face was an accident. I didn't notice it until after I uploaded the picture to my Flickr account.
