It was another Saturday night at the dirt track. During the "packing the track" portion of the evening, I spotted these two who almost had their noses pressed against the fence. I'm pretty sure they had a friend or relative participating in the races, although I don't know who.

Since they were just so durned cute, I couldn't help but grab a photo of them.

Post-processing: Not much on this one. Noise reduction, slight curves adjustment, sharpening, and border addition.

Opening night at my local dirt track! Yes, it's redneck -- that actually adds to the fun of it. I've heard that on this opening night, they had their largest crowd ever.

I got this shot during hot laps after all the cars went out and packed the track. I can't remember which class this was: limited late models or hobby. I would have liked to get a shot during a race, but it was getting to dark for my little point-n-shoot. Maybe next time I'll try to grab a photo during one of the 4-cyl races. If it's still light enough outside.
