2011: 17/365 Letterman

When I first started processing this picture, I wanted it in color. I wanted to see the rich, deep red of the patch against the black leather of the sleeve. Until my daughter pointed out that in the photo, the rich, deep red of the patch wasn't a rich, deep red. It was orange.

Orange.

For some reason, I couldn't correct the color. Even worse, my daughter's hair looked green. I don't know what happened, but nothing worked. Luckily, there's always a fallback.

Black & white.

Orange patch -- gone. Green hair -- fixed. And it all looks good.
