The kids were still out of school, so we packed everybody into the truck and took a drive up into the mountains. We saw frozen water everywhere! From ice-covered lakes and creeks to giant icicles hanging from the cliffs on the side of the road, it really looked like the holidays were here.
I got this photo at Helton Creek Falls in the North Georgia Mountains, one of the few waterfalls in North Georgia you can step right out onto. And since this turned out to be such a cool photo, I couldn't resist giving it a corny name. :-)
